Can I remote log in (to CSIL/Linux) from home?

You want to remotely connect to CSIL/Linux from home/laptop outside of the lab.

How to do it:

Note: If you are not a Computer Science student you can replace with to instead.

Linux or Mac

If you are using Linux or Mac, open Terminal and type in the following:

and replace "yourengineeringusername" with your actual engineering username and xx with a number between 01 and 48. If it asks you a question about fingerprints, simply type yes and press enter. Next, you will enter your password and that's it!
